id have to put "sideways forest" as their "cusp" CD, as that is when they
really started fooling around w/knobs... dont know if that one got much play
tho, but i think the breaks in 'flux' were pretty widely accepted [i had a
lot of spooky friends in those days - funny to watch kids in black lipstick
nodding their heads to breakbeats.]
funny story, a subsitute teacher in my senior year of high school [im pretty
sure it was a math class] was wearing a love spirals downward shirt... i
commented on it after class ["cool shirt!"]. turns out the sub was ryan lum
from LSD. saw them perform less than a week later in hollywood and did a
double take when i saw my teacher behind the sampler.

agreed! its sorta happend a couple of times w/that scene tho [think HALO
into Terminal Sound System, or Scorn out of Napalm Death...]
