A friend of mine (a rocket scientist) relates to Autechre on a mathematical level, Autechre does sound like really fucking complex maths after all... He'd never heard Autechre live before (we were at John Peels Meltdown at the South Bank a couple of years ago), it blew his mind like complex calculations going on in his head... that's braindance for you...
