I didn't actually listen to it when it came out, but my buddy lent me a copy in December - seriously, it's a great album - just listen to "camoflage" or the drums at the end of "elephant guns" - classic stuff. don't know why everyone (including me) slept on it though. it's like - people keep saying that Def Jux is falling off, but I've yet to hear real proof. I downloaded the promo for RJD2's new album the other day and that's, well, not my bag really, but listening to the songs I just knew i'd be hearing them all next summer, everywhere I go. some of them even have mtv potential... -wil m. __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? yeah, the aesop rock seems kind of enigmatic. my thoughts were that, now that his music's on Tony Hawk Pro Skater and everything, he was sort of sabatoging his own career - releasing something that's purposely cryptic and unfriendly. Now, since he's sufficently alienated his 'mainstream' audience, only the true fans will follow his music, making him cool & obscure again. of course, this is kind of absurd from the perspective of trying to make money and run a business - maybe he was just feeling the noisy stuff right then. I heard that the SA Smash album is not to be missed, though. I haven't heard it yet. --- Monkeybaitqh@cs.com wrote:

only the true fans AND the thousands upon thousands of girls who have big crushes on him. anyone seen that video he did for No Jumper Cables with all the intercut footage of Style Wars?
