I didn't actually listen to it when it came out, but my buddy lent me a copy in
December - seriously, it's a great album - just listen to "camoflage" or the
drums at the end of "elephant guns" - classic stuff. don't know why everyone
(including me) slept on it though. it's like - people keep saying that Def Jux
is falling off, but I've yet to hear real proof. I downloaded the promo for
RJD2's new album the other day and that's, well, not my bag really, but
listening to the songs I just knew i'd be hearing them all next summer,
everywhere I go. some of them even have mtv potential...
