I dunno about that... the closest thing I can think of off hand would be more along the lines of David Tudor's _Neural Synthesis_ series. Rabe is minimal godhead similar to Rafael Toral's longer pieces, Charlemagne Palestine's electronic work, or Jliat (long live the DX-7!).
