Maryanne Amacher released a disc on Tzadik last year. As far as I know she only has one other disc that was released in the late 80s. Most of her stuff is sound installation, tone design for specific rooms (train terminals, bank tower foyers etc). She may also have one or two tracks on out of print compilations. I know she lives in Kingston, New York. You might find some stuff about her searching for that. You might also want to check Folke Rabe, a swedish composer that does similar stuff.
