Yeah I guess I have to agree with you slightly :) '73-yips' the hard track is awesome and I like the dark fucked up one with the wailing baby sample but 'On' itself is totally tedious after the first few minutes.

AB2 ? ie 'digeridoo'? or do you mean AB3? I was disappointed with AB3 and only really like the first monster hard track. Yeah, I think RDJ is quite obviously a total nutcase (or the worlds most impressive practical joker), but he's appears to be enjoying himself and has yet to sell out, despite the hype so I think he deserves massive credit for that.

heh heh heh. Love the AHA bit! It's very true too. But to be blunt - so the fuck what? Do you really believe people are blind to everything other than RDJ work?

Yep these are all top top artists, Terrace in particular is very 'under discussed', I have most of his work and he kicks. 'Pulling the Strings' should be an all time IDM classic. I do however think you're on dangerous territory when you talk about ol' Dezzer tho. Pushing the limits? Not since about 1989 or whenever he last released a record. Everything he's done is pretty bloody good but AFAIK he hasn't done anything significant for years. Apart from moan. And as for Mr Larkin. Do you really think _Azimuth_ pushed a limit? I quite like it but it was hardly groundbreaking. (I did think the Panic in detroit stuff was good, but again hardly new) I can't real comment on carl craig 'cos he's virtually unavailable over here, tho I recently bought 69 '4 jazz funk classics'. And was very dissapointed I have to add. Neuro Politique? Who? Something to look out for if it's as good as the rest of the bunch.

I wish I could find a copy. Actually on the subject of Black Dog Productions, I think they, along with RDJ, are just about the only people to have innovated in the last few years.

Of course there is, and I spend lots of time tracking it all down, but the whole AFX thing has a certain mystique about it that makes it a good conversation topic. People are going to have to live with this.

AFX = pop mediocrity?? I think not. greg 3 0 3
