have to throw my two cents in here. this showed up out of nowhere -- had never heard of kurt ralske or miau miau, though i had heard of ultra vivid scene -- and it was a very pleasant surprise. the best i can come up with is a warmer, more inviting oval-meets-coil sort of vibe, but more lush and diverse than that implies. subtle computer effects mixed with engaging textures and real movement to the tracks. nice stuff. urban sounds review forthcoming... sc onnow: dj krush : kakusei (sony japan)
