have to throw my two cents in here. this showed up out of nowhere -- had
never heard of kurt ralske or miau miau, though i had heard of ultra vivid
scene -- and it was a very pleasant surprise. the best i can come up with
is a warmer, more inviting oval-meets-coil sort of vibe, but more lush and
diverse than that implies. subtle computer effects mixed with engaging
textures and real movement to the tracks. nice stuff.
