I feel like taking MFR into defense here... I've ordered with him 3 times,
and although the last order took a while to get here (I was recieving
emails during the whole process) everything worked out just grand. I can't
comment on your specific case, and if this is what really happened, I must
say I'm quite surprised, Stuart is a stand-up guy and the Stuart I've been
dealing with wouldn't act like this...
Just to show how nice my experience was... I (and a couple of friends)
ordered this:

I don't want you to expect to recieve anything just because you order with
MFR, but this quite shows that if something is late, or something which he
claims was available wasn't, he makes it up to you. He sent the records
whenever he got em in, no extra postage charges.
And the prices aren't exactly bad... I've yet to find any cheaper ones.

The only thing I've experieced similar to this was that my Freeform 12"
came without a sleeve... But HOWEVER, they don't really grow on trees so WTF.
Otherwise anything of this hasn't happened to me.
The only thing that bothers me really is that MFR can be quite slow on
emails... But then again, that's nothing really unique...
I bet that there's a lot of people with similar experiences of MFR/4thWorld
out there...
