Although I am a passionate listener of idm, I never stopped listening to Industrial, or any of the other stuff I love. I just discovered Haujobb and can't get enough of it. Skinny Puppy still gets played frequently at our house. idm is not the center of the universe, although it may be the center of YOUR universe. I need to listen to lots of kinds of music and I know that a lot of people on this list listen to many different styles: from Bach to Shawn Colvin. I think a lot of people who enjoyed (and produced) Industrial music years ago moved on into ambient and idm, but did not give up liking Industrial, etc. There's room on my cd shelves for all of it. I do think that alot of people who used to be into industrial kinda moved on into other things. There still is some good industrial being made but I think its become more underground since Wax Trax went into hybernation. Beyond Puppy and Haujjob, some other killer industrial acts to check out are: Lassigue Bendthaus, THD, Informatik, and Struktur ROB

What's the deal with the tracks on the US release of FSoL's Dead Cities? There are 15 tracks listed (Or so it seems) - and only 13 are apparent - with a sort of 'hidden' track at the end of 13 after a 30 second or so delay - Their 'progressive' a.k.a. unintelligible typography makes the chronology of the tracks hard to discern. I can't tell which tracks are supposed to be combined etc. This might be 'the point' but as usual, this is a damned stupid point to make - If they are going to bother with naming the tracks at least they should print their covers so that the owners of the CDs can tell which are which. Otherwise why not just skip the titles altogether? But I digress... I just wanna figure oput which tracks are which - graphic design debates can wait till later.
