yep, there's a cd out on TZADIK called "Sound Characters" released in '99. Don't worry about earplugs allthough you can scare people off dancefloors with the fist track. I know the label resides in NY but otherwise no info. More in the same vein but which also could fall into "ambient" is the wonderfull Anne Gilles who made recordings based on loops from sewingmachines... If anybody has that '84 lp for sale/trade... let me know...
