i read this little article about noise and there was a mention of a
person named maryanne amacher. it goes on to say that she has "developed
a form of music that enables the listener to become, literally, the
musician. some frequencies, when played at certain levels, turn our ears
into 'neurophonic instruments'. in other words, they make the inner ear
resonate, inducing the ear itself to 'play' its own music. each
individual ear will respond differently to different frequencies, so
every listener's hearing experience will be unique". sounds interesting
right? anyone know where to find any recordings of these frequencies, if
recordings exist?
thanks.
