I join you in the minority. I saw their new disk in a used shop for a
couple bucks and listened to it. It didnt really grab me like a couple
other disks I had picked up . such as the Trancespotting (for only $3.99
who wouldnt like it?)
and I ended up putting it back. I then gave it a second chance by
borrowing it from a friend. It is ok but not something I could get heavily
into for some reason. It actually began to annoy me more than anything and
I struggled to listen to the whole disk the minimum 2 x's (i give all idm
stuff at least 2 listens before passing judgement usually). I dont think
it is so much the singer myself as that didnt really bother me. I just
didnt get grabbed and slapped across the face like most really good idm
stuff does.
It could also be from all the rave reviews I have seen of it that made my
expectations so high. I expected some great stuff from what everyone has
said to me. . but in my opinion it is pretty much just an average disk full
of *filler* songs that are OK at best.
Just my humble $.03 + tax, license, and registration fees. I as well dont
mean to sound so negative but I think they're overrated myself.
Oh yeah, they are playing a rave that Im gonna go to though so hopefully
they will turn me on to their music more than the disk did.
