Harthouse started moving into more downtempo/off the wall (for them) areas a couple of years ago. Check out the stuff by Off and Gone, Soap and Alter Ego, and also the Dark Hearts II comp. I'm sure there's more but I can't remember it off-hand. Oh yeah, the second album by Der Dritte Raum is simply outstanding idm-y/housey trance, light years ahead of his first effort. I haven't heard the new Braincell, but it's funny that an album by Cari L. should also be moving in this direction - his stuff is normally crisp and trancey, i.e. normal Harthouse turf. Ashok
