how many of you listen this i`ve heard opinions that this is the best techno available , but i personally think it`s mostly crap , but Ch. Vogel had few interesting tracks and now it is said that he left minimal techno scene because it wasn`t creative , his last record was released by Mute or NovaMute , i think . he also released 2 records for Mille Plateaux which seems to be very experimental label ,anyone would share opinion on them? are they intelligent ? --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

quoted 1 line you are right it is crap...> you are right it is crap...
Even though I am a big fan of hard and minimal techno, I can also agree with this statement as well. Putting in something by Pacou while you try to study or go about normal business typically doesn't work too well because it does sound like crap in these settings. I was never a big fan of minimal techno until I visted a friend of mine in Berlin and actually went to the "cellar" as the Tresor is sometimes known as. My mind was changed immediately. The energy and sheer amplitude of all the booming 909 kicks set against arranged noise without any melody was just amazing; this experience was without *any* conscious-altering drug. Now, I can't get enough of music by Pacou, H.E.I.M. Elektronik, Andrew Kowalski, and many other East German techno artists. Like a lot of other music, it's subjective enjoyment or quality is usually dependent upon the context in which it is experienced. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
