is it just me or did someone resurrect add n to x and then mix it with the analord series and the last ninja soundtrack and john carpenter and basically everything that is old and analog and awesome? i love this lp start to finish but its not in any way groundbreaking if anything its more like how did it take this long for such a great album to be made from 40 year old gear

You're right! It's really good but it's not at all groundbreaking. Solid LP. Add N to (X) is a good shout, I can totally hear that. I can also hear Ikonika in there, like if she went less bass and more analogue I think she'd sound just like Discreet Desires. Mem

thats actually one of the things i really liked about it is how dark it is -- and yet its not like a cheap-thrills kinda industrial/metal darkness, it's more like a fairly embellished gothic sort of darkness, epic even -- this might sound dumb but, i sort of felt like it was as a whole a new take on dark techno in general, like coming at darkness from more of a clever and refined angle than just bashing your head with it Clint Anderson Systems Engineer "Freedom -- paint me a picture!" -- Burton Cummings On Mon, Oct 12, 2015 at 10:41 AM, John D. <johndalton@pchome.com.tw> wrote:

I think I know what you mean. It's like being in a dark maze as opposed to the sound of something dark and foreboding happening or about to happen. Like there's danger everywhere but you're nimble enough to avoid it each time like a computer game character. In fact, I think it would make a great soundtrack to a platform video game along those lines. Mem
