Elec. Co. = Brad Laner, who was in the My Bloody Valentine wannabe band Medicine (who had one _amazing_ song and a lot of crap releases). He's done a bunch of other stuff, like an LP with the Vas Deferens Organization... Anyways, the new CD is STudio City and it is, as the original poster mentioned, seriously badass. I'd like to say that Daniel's assessment of the new Electric Company is right on (my review of it will run in A.P. issue 134). FYI, Brad Laner (aka Electric Company) is heading to New Orleans this month to record an album with over-the-top psychedelicists Vas Deferens Organization.
