Does anyone know if the Ambient World re-issue of Ambiant Otaku will have the same cover art? Wasnt it "62 Eulenglasse" (or another Inoue release) that had a different cover on the domestic reissue? I ditched my old copy before the big news & It would be a real shame if the non-Fax version lacked the Mandala cover the original - it is truly the map you need to reach the Nirvana to which the music was sending you! ernie Ernesto Ikerd, (817) 763-4795 Company Graphics, Dept 17, MZ-4202 Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company Fort Worth, Texas --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

It does not. However, the original art does appear, in greyscale, on the inside of the booklet. A sort-of version of the cover art appears here: http://www.faxlabel.com/fax/new/aw017.htm That's actually the main graphic. The text "Ambiant Otaku" also appears beneath said graphic.

It was 2350 Broadway (a Namlook/Inoue collaboration), and, yes, as with all other Ambient World issues (technically, German issues, not US, as they are issued by FAX themselves), it too had a different cover from the original, although the matrix number on the actual CDs remain consistent with the originals in most cases. And, yes, it is an excellent release. <PLUG> http://www.2350.org/reviews/ps43.shtml </PLUG> -w. -- Warren Lapham laps@2350.org FAXlabel reviews : http://www.2350.org/ Pithy drivel and errata (8-12-1999 [visual]) : http://www.myzeitgeist.org/ --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
