The juno 106 is one of those synths that are only popular because people
like the chemical brothers and crystal method use them. i've seen people
get $600 for them, but that's on a lucky day. personally i think they're
shit. most general analog synths bore me with their lack of flexibility and
user friendliness. i haven't had much experience with these things, but
from the hour + that i played one i know that there's a lot of better synths
out there for what you could get for that 106. if you like the analog
sound, i'd go with an sh-101, or something along those lines. but that's
just what i like. and maybe i suck a lot, and maybe people will send me bad
messages because i don't like their synth. but that's the price i gotta pay.
