The Juno-106 is a good solid polyphonic midi workhorse. Its strengths are
its midi capabilites: you can record slider tweaks as sysex info. It's not
good at strange FX. Decent pads if you have some good processing.
I've always felt that the sounds its capable of are somewhat boring, and
its modulation options are limited. Its filter sounds like a dog next to
the SH-101.
It's one of the more popular synths out there though. William Orbit,
Autechre like theirs. (many others, just don't know them off the top of my
head)
