Uh-huhuuhu-uh-uh.
I remember reading in the NME a while back that Global Goon sold more
than the Richard D.James LP. Don't know how true it is though. As for
RDJ LP I think its the best and most innvoative thing he's ever done.
It sounds like a RDJ/Cylob/Squarepusher soundclash to me. Even a bit
of Kosmik Kommie and the other Rephlex influences in there too - easy
listening, hardcore jungle-pop. And everyone hates it!

Here's another lab fan! My fave is that 'Music For The Amorphous
Body Study Center' Mini LP. Sweet stuff. Anyone heard the High
Llama's LP which features Sean O'Hagen who does all the ace Stereolab
string arrangements?
Liked 'Emperor Tomato Ketchup' too, but there's something a little
not quite right about it that I can't put my finger on it.
Can't wait for the new LP produced by John McEntire of Tortoise and
mixed by my fave Kraut doodlers Mouse On Mars. There's a new MOM
single on the way too with vocals from Laetititiitiitiitititia (okay
so I don't know how to spell her name!) 'lab.
As for the old stuff, I thing Mars Audiac Quintet is top, but the
really old stuff tends to sound a little too similar. At least they
seem to be moving forward now...
Ping Pong should have been No.1!
