Just to reiterate a point I made earlier, the tracks on the new album are
hardly songs, but just simply explorations of rhythm, all mixed together
in a smoldering melting pot of doggish delight. Listening to the tracks
individually is a senseless act, and goes unrewarded. While at times the
concept works quite well for the album, I found many of the 26 tracks to
barely scratch the surface of Ken's unique talent. On the most part I
was disappointed, but "Music for Adverts..." is hardly a BAD album. I
just find it difficult to understand.
