Was in Camden yesterday and went to the NHM&VExch. Got a copy of Vulva's first cd for a fiver (!) and Spookys Fingerbobs. They had Anibaldi's Void for six quid and quite a few Rephlex promos for nine quid each which I though was too steep seeing as Rephlex never even print Promo copy only on them - which for some reason seems to add value. WHat the f is it about Notting Hill Exch though - anything second hand but just released is at least as exp as gettin it new at Our Price - whats the point?? Asked the guy if they had had any cd promo's of Caustic Window - he just smiled... r

WHat the f is it about Notting Hill Exch though - anything > second hand but just released is at least as exp as gettin it new at > Our Price - whats the point?? i quite agree -- the nhx shops in notting hill were until about a year ago quite reasonable, but then they had a refit and decided that their opening price for a newish single cd would be 13 quid. to make matters worse, they've separated the cheap cds (~8 quid and below) from the others and put them in a separate shop. not good. if you ask me, current best second-hand shops are reckless in berwick street and vinyl exchange in manchester. -- richard
