i quite agree -- the nhx shops in notting hill were until about a year ago
quite reasonable, but then they had a refit and decided that their opening
price for a newish single cd would be 13 quid.
to make matters worse, they've separated the cheap cds (~8 quid and below)
from the others and put them in a separate shop.
not good.
if you ask me, current best second-hand shops are reckless in berwick street
and vinyl exchange in manchester.
