| Wednesday, June 25, 2003 | ED105 - Swedish Electronica DVD Release Party ED105 will take place Wednesday 25st June 2003 at Rangus Tangus in Stockholm. This evening ED is hosting the Swedish Electronica DVD release party. A varity of the 20 artists that contributed to the DVD compilation will be performing live in the desert and the DVD will naturallly be on display as well as for sale at a reduced price. ED105 also features the two audio project managers Bell 03 and JL and they will be playing the very best in contemporary electronic music. About the DVD Collectanea - First Course is an exciting new music compilation exhibiting many of the different sides that Electronica music in Sweden has to offer. This, the first Electronica DVD from Escapi, was created with all types of audiences in mind whether you’re a true connoisseur or have never experienced Electronica before. The DVD includes 20 Swedish artists both signed and unsigned, who have all contributed with material exclusively for this DVD. All the tracks utilise Dolby Digital® 5.1-Channel Surround which gave the artists a chance to try out new mixing techniques and experiment even further with their music. For the visuals, the artists themselves have collaborated with separate video producers and also produced images and footage of their own to create intriguing, experimental and often outlandish video material for each track. The DVD also includes biographies and discographies, plus web and email-contact information for both the musical artists and the video producers. This is a style of product that many people have wanted to create for a long time, but none have had the proper facilities at hand, together with the dedication and commitment of the artists to produce such a project until now. All Electronica music is united by one common factor; experimentation. This DVD is therefore not only an experiment in both the audio and visual forms, but also an attempt to find the best way to give the audience the full Electronica experience at home. Featured Artists AC9, Anders Ilar (Shitkatapult), Andreas Tilliander (Mille Plateaux, Force Lab, Mitek Records), Bauri (Neo Ouija, New Speak Records), Bobby Madrid, Chambre Noire, Claudia Bonarelli (Mille Plateaux, Mitek), Dorothy’s Magic Bag (Subnatura), Extraboy (Subnatura), Johan Inkinen (Soundart Records, Blackstrobe Records), Johan Skugge (Mitek Records, Source Records), Liquid Stranger (Subnatura), Malcolm D, Marcus Wrangö (Electronic Desert Recordings, iDEAL Recordsings), Micro Groover, Role Model (Bleep Street, Relax Beat), Slem, Ban Ham (Mitek Records, Mille Plateaux), Sourcery, Vita (Mitek Records, Force Lab, Force Inc). \Col`lec*ta"ne*a\, n. pl.
