I'm not even going to attempt to give my review of Confield being that I've
only listened to it once. One thing that was going though my head as I was
listening to it was that it hardly seemed to fit to any of the reviews that
I had read prior to listening. This made me think that maybe they pulled
off something big by having a few different albums of music all circulating
with the name "Confield" and all of the same track titles. But then I
checked the audio samples on Warp and found that not to be the case. That
could've been an interesting thing to do. Still can't figure out how the
reviews are so drastically different. I'm not even talking about likes or
dislikes...i'm talking about the descriptions of the tracks themselves. I
just can't understand how someone could think that this album goes back to
their pre-LP5 sound. My only comment at the moment is that its pretty much
incomparable to anything I've heard before.
