I think your reply proves my point. The point being: "You might have a point here (which in my opinion you don't) but all semblance of it is lost when you call someone a dipshit." (in reference to your idm post) this is why when I first read your post that you came off like a pompous ass. I did not see any real argument and couldn't even clearly see what you were saying. In fact you looked more like the insult than the person you insulted (no offense meant). However, if you had initially posted something that was similar to your reply to me instead of what you did, I would not have had issues with what you said. A lot of what you say does make sense and most (if not all) of it I agree with. And I do agree the original poster should have taken a less direct route. My contacts with magazines have all been through exchanges that started off as simple correspondence. But I do want to make a little correction. Just because you live in California does not mean you have access to everything us small label owners put out. In fact a person would have had better luck finding our first release in Japan than America. The reason I mention this is because a lot of people do not understand why items are scarce. For us it was because the foreign distributors were more supportive than the domestic ones. The fact that our items end up in domestic magazines increases our chances of getting picked up by American distributors. But for the most part I agree with what you say. But next time watch the insults. Destroys even the best arguments. -daniel: Head Monkey: Mad Monkey Records: http://monkey.eliteware.com --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
