i agree totally, but this statement makes me think of the Ensoniq FIZMO
which i saw a few weeks ago on close out at GUITAR CENTER for 499$, that
synth didnt try to emulate anything, it was very digital very "bleepy and
bloopy", and it didnt sell well at all. I think alot of musicians are stuck
on this "analog enthusiast" binge right now. It will wear off, and soon
people will be paying 2000 bucks for a Yamaha dx-7 when the digital synths
begin to gain popularity and the analog synths are "old" again? So grab a
dx7 for 400 bucks while ya can hehhhahaa
Its like the tr808, in like 89 my step dad bought a 808 for like 350 bucks,
everyone was making music with those machines cuz they were cheap, so what
happened now you cant get a 808 for under 800 bucks man,...same with old
analog Moogs, cheap a few years ago, shunned by the industry now,...everyone
wants them, i bought my moog like 6 years ago for 300 bucks, i see em on
ebay all the time for 1400 bucks...
its a cycle...
Does that make sense?
Slick
knobtwirling freak.
