Never seen the concept 5.1 album either... also there was a blurb about
all the album covers making a giant logo - any pictures of this?
I picked up the DE9 dvd and enjoyed the mix though i still think the
surround mixes are too 'forward facing'. Only have a handfull of 5.1
mixes and by far and away the best is 'Flaming Lips : Yoshimi vs. the
robots'. I know it's not IDM but it's the most surrond engaging
performance i've ever heard, and the dvd visuals are dope.
speaking of DE9, the wax version is sooo much fun to DJ with, there's
something like 50 single groove tracks on 2 LP's that you can have
endless knob wankery with.... research, research.
