not sure about the video, as i haven't seen it yet. but Fischerspooner ARE brilliant AND have made the first PERFECT, Flawless long player I've heard in my medium length life. honestly, nothing strange about it. i guess it could be considered strange because it actually has bold beats and grooves, unlike most music discussed on this list. I haven't really been reading this thread to seriously as I can imagine its more of the same, but the argument seems to be 'people will or will not buy music using p2p'. Im more than likely a good example of a far worse 3rd option. I just wont listen to as much music anymore. Im sure there are a bunch of people in the same boat as me, because im too busy to sort through the garbage, and I can think of maybe 5 cds in my life that ive purchased and felt worth the value. So oh well, im not stealing, but im not listening either. You decide which is worse. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

I think I'm in the same boat you are. I downloaded a fair amount of crap a few years ago -- things that got good reviews, people said that they liked, and gave it a listen. And I didn't like much of any of it. So I didn't feel like I was missing out on anything, and, subsequently, have been buying much less music. And downloading even less. "Ruby Vroom" stays on pretty constant rotation, though... derek -- eggytoast.com -------------- commerce soon: eggtastic.com --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

Ugly people flailing around in mud is brilliant? *** Um, yeah. But "Bullet With Butterfly Wings" by Smashing Pumpkins was not. Still, not a patch on "Sugar Cube" by Yo La Tengo, the classic New Order videos, but one of the best I've seen lately. Yes, I watched 120 Minutes last night. That video by The Walkmen had my jaw dropping too. Last thing I saw that good was probably "There Goes The Fear" by Doves. Hammer and Tongs got thanked in the credits for Adaptation. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

I TOTALLY AGREE AND I THINK THE L0T 0F U FUCKRS SHLD DEFNITLI SHUT THE FUCK UP, PLEASE. 0N A FURTHER N0TE I WLD LOIK TO SAY THAT P2P IS TOTALLY BAD, AND THAT ME AND DRE WIL CATCH THE LOT OF U.. But seriously now, in all honesty, I am new to the list, have missed the first half of this thread, and am not wildly concerned, ahaha. :) I see this certainly is quite a busy list. :))) And so I'd like to try and convince some of yoawl to recommend some mewzik for me: I am primarily interested in downloadablez, because where I am living has a very poor selection of the CDz I want to buy- CD stores don't want to get stuff in for you half the time, and then they want to charge you 250-300 ZAR per imported CD, which kinda hurts my budget significantly. Worse! Is that PayPal no longer allow you to live in South Africa (which is where I live). They actually removed 'South Africa' from the drop-down list of countries of residence, although it's still in 'Country of Origin'. ;D When I e-mailed them asking why they decided to such a completely daft and fucked-up thing they did not reply- apparently they d0 n0t neg0tiate with t3rr0rists.. Yeah, and Tigerbeat6 use PayPal for their online ordering, thus why this upsets me particularly (costs twice as much in a CD store). :( Oh, I wouldn't mind PayPal'ing up a few for axs to asianarray.com either!!! hahaha... Anyway, the muzik I am enjoying at the moment is the: kid606, cex, Gold Chains, Mouse on Mars, Mike Patton (Secret Chiefs 3, Fantomas, Mr Bungle, FNM) [Not really IDM any of this though allot of SC3 is a bit], Aphex Twin, hmmmnnmm, others.... :| So if some1 can point me to ell Big FTP of Misk IDM, that wld be something I am looking for. :)) Or even if you can name some artists you think I'd like, given what I like already, that'd also be good. :) Oh Oh, and I am also a k0ol IDM arteeste mYself, was hoping to get my dem0 out this last December, but being a working mann n0w again aftr being homeless for a bit too long ahaha, I have less time, although I am on my way to actually being able to *buy* a computer and such things now, which will help me greatly. So you can expect a demo CD (and more downloadablez) from me around mid-year/end-of-this-year. :) But but but! Right now! You can get some of the 0h-day preview material at http://effkay.org/mp3 !! :)) If you are f0kkn madd. Well yea. So how you like me now? ^^ All this text. Makes u madd, n0t?? HaH! hahahahahahahaha!!!!!!! Jesus that was funny. That made my day, and its only 5:20 am. welcome to the list. Oh, and I like Mike Patton's work as well, especially between Disco Volante and California with bungle. His two releases of Zorn's label are fantastic. But you're right, that isn't idm. QUICK!
