Probably a very dumb question... but has anyone ever suggested the idea of an IDM list related compilation CD-R of some sort (as in, a compilation of music from folks on the IDM list that are not already relatively famous)? If so, did anything come out of it? Am I bringing back a thread that will send half the list screaming, and not knowing it? ======================================================================= Brian MacDonald <brianm@kuci.org> ======================================================================= --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

I wasn't around at the time, so I don't know all the details and probably shouldn't be responding to this, but this has been done at least once before, sort of. There have been a couple of "IDM list remix chains" - http://artists.mp3s.com/artists/23/idmlist_remix_chain.html is one, http://www.remixworld.com/RW001/ is the other one I've found. The first one was sort of a release on Kracfive, originally, I think, though I'm not sure. I also just discovered by accident http://www.idmfaq.org/ ... most people probably know about it already, but how come I'd not heard of it? __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
