I wasn't around at the time, so I don't know all the
details and probably shouldn't be responding to this,
but this has been done at least once before, sort of.
There have been a couple of "IDM list remix chains" -

is one,

one I've found. The first one was sort of a release
on Kracfive, originally, I think, though I'm not sure.
I also just discovered by accident
