I was in Toronto shopping last weekend...went into Metropolis and noticed some very nice downtempo spinning. Finally I caved and asked what it was. Bukem's "Earth Volume 2". Quite nice, VERY low DnB (none I heard, but the guy behind the counter said there was a slight element) content. I was surprised, having sort of drifted away from most DnB.

In just the same vein, I'd recommend the new Beanfield album "Human Patterns." I'm pretty new to jazzy downtempo stuff, having been rather more spartan in my past few years of listening, but I'm glad I've come round to it. Human Patterns, for the record, has one track, the season, that's probably one of my top 10 tracks of the year. Amazing minor/major swirling chord changes, gorgeous female vocals... ah, I can listen to it over and over.
