[idm] Anyone else on here not like "IDM"?

No, I'm not being facetious. I'm just getting increasingly curious as to whether there's anyone else out there who no longer listens to eg. Autechre, Aphex Twin, thinks labels like MAS and Skam are boring, doesn't like all these post-Aphex distorted drum machine sounds, disjointed rhythms, etc. etc... I stay on the list because there is enough discussion of acts I do like which I would never find elsewhere. I guess these are some of the things I enjoy reading about: Chain Reaction style minimal stuff (eg. Vlad. Delay, old Porter Ricks, the new Andreas Tilliander LP), "neu-Kraut" and the A-Musik related stuff (eg. To Rococo Rot, Tarwater, MoM, Vert, C-Schulz & Hajsh), some Detroit sounds (eg. Shake, Carl Craig) and yes this weirdo house business (eg. Herbert, recent Matmos, some Force Tracks 12s) ... I guess I find some good hip-hop tips on here as well. So, yeah, I'm just wondering whether anyone else is in a similar boat? No need to reply to the whole list, certainly no need to make a "these are all IDM"/"there aren't IDM at all, what are you doing here??" thread. :-) Mind you, with all this said, when I received my copies of that Surgery Records comp 'Initial Release' I found I really enjoyed the vast majority of tracks. They're pretty damn downbeat though... I guess I'm a sucker for the far softer end of the spectrum... or if I want rowdy I listen to rock. Thinking out loud...
