Maybe I am just off my rocker... But... Does anyone else think that they sound very similar?... At the very least the stuff that I heard of Devine's on the ischemic .... had a lot of 'aphexy' sounds in his songs... can not really say about the structure... cause I just doNT know... ... with that said ... what would a remix really do? I think it is actually pretty funny that he is... remixing and aphex song... considering the opnion ... which I have just expressed... You (Alex ...) may have written:

This is the wave of the future -- people graduating from geeks with modems to guys with record deals. Rich Devine, Bogdan, Stewart Walker, Dale Lawrence, and now Hrvatski. It strikes me a little wierd when people get the trainspotter bug and start chasing down obscure 7" and cassette releases by NEXT BIG THING artists. The fact is that before you somehow get a buzz going, you have trouble giving the shit away, and if you get someone to take a copy for free, they probably won't listen to it, and if they listen to it, they won't give it the same consideration they give even sub-paar tracks from established artists.
