This is the wave of the future -- people graduating from geeks with
modems to guys with record deals. Rich Devine, Bogdan, Stewart Walker,
Dale Lawrence, and now Hrvatski.
It strikes me a little wierd when people get the trainspotter bug
and start chasing down obscure 7" and cassette releases by NEXT BIG THING
artists. The fact is that before you somehow get a buzz going, you
have trouble giving the shit away, and if you get someone to take a copy
for free, they probably won't listen to it, and if they listen to it,
they won't give it the same consideration they give even sub-paar tracks
from established artists.
