But are Rephlex doing the straightforward variant (dead or not)? I'd
assumed they'd be releasing something mad but grime derived, in the same
way that most of their 'acid' releases would sound out of place on a label
like Flying Rhino.[1] So whether a Rephlex Grime comp is any good would be
more or less independent of the general state of the stuff. I've heard good
stuff from some of the people who seem to be involved, but it didn't sound
like the stuff that would be 'in' with a mainstream London crowd at any
point.
