John Peel just played a track from the Rephlex Grime compilation, which
sounded moderately interesting. A few questions: Is the comp out yet, or
when is it due? What does the rest of it sound like? And in a more abstract
vein, are Rephlex actually at the heart of an urban yoof phenomenon (as
their website rather implies) or are they releasing (good and interesting)
records that are derived from but don't actually affect the 'sounds on the
street'?

ps sorry if this was the flavour of the month last month. I've only just
