Thats funny ;)
Maybe more musicians listen to I.D.M. than the average
person out of a respect for the knowledge and
creativity it takes to make an original I.D.M.
song...by original I dont only mean original as in..it
doesn't sound like anyone else, but original as in,
not just a bunch of sampled loops and or
pre-programmed synth patches and sequences that come
with all the little toy "groove-boxes" out there and
drum loop libraries(like most of the "Trance" stuff on
MP3.com is)...... Like many of the great we all listen
to, (in my opinion) a truly original piece of music
(no matter the genre),and what makes music worth while
all together, is to make it as much a part of you as
possible...I consider my music a "digital self"...I
tell people when they think they know me, they dont
know the half of it, they need to hear my music.
Now, I dont only do I.D.M., but my I.D.M. project
contains a lot of sound design by me, and all musical
data is always written by me, so that to me is like
grabbing hold of a piece of my inner-self, and
digitalizing it, for the world at large.
I'd like to hear everyones music, if you have any
online or would like to give me a free cd...email me,
my ears are always open.
xh
