he was doing that at the london show they did. i thought it was pretty
amazing. like proper turntablist skillz, but digital.
laptop shows seem to be really hit and miss. i mean, they can either blow
you away, or be boring. i think if musicians worked more with visuals and
pulled the attention away from the performance, or the performer and put the
emphasis on the improvisation and music, maybe ppl would get more
satisfaction...
any thoughts on this?! i am writing a fanzine at the moment, and the main
theme is live electronic music, so if anyone out there has any opinions on
this please let me know. start a thread or something...
