i agree with your observation about visuals, to watch an electronic
performance is usually fairly uneventful, one or two guys twiddling knobs
and buttons, or in some cases just staring at an lcd screen, so...visuals
are needed to keep the audiences attention, on another level...i know this
from personal experience.
