No, that's not how it is with AB4. AB4 is suppossed to come in a little thin cardboard sleeve with a picture of a face that sorta looks like it's on a security camera. The CD also has printing on it unlike AB3. That's how mine came at least. You can grab it but don't expect to be blown away by the music. I like tracks two and four most, which are more melody...track two borders on video game music, but I still like it. To those of you who have the original AB3 CD I want to ask you a question. Did it come with a really crappy xerox cover slip wrapped in some bubble wrap? I'm wondering if this xerox cover slip is the original. This crappy xerox cover might be a print out of the PostScript format tracklisting that was on the old hyperreal rephlex page a while back. This postscript file had just a plain-font listing of the track names and when you cut it out it would fit into the slimline CD case that the original came in (complete with dashed lines where you were to fold). Enough with this thread already! It seems every single person who owns a copy (of the first repress of ab3 I might add) is coming out of the woodwork, pining for some sort of community acknowledgment just because they own a bloody disc. Wow. I've been following this thread for days now trying to find out if ANYONE has figured out what the difference between the new repress and the original are, but to no avail. *sigh*. p.s. I also have a copy, but it's the original print in bubblewrap and sticker.
