let me apologize for my 'bad'language in my reaction to ROWLAND ATKINSON. I thought highly of him too, but I never realized he'd have a cow over me not telling him I didn't some piece of paper included with some trade. I never had it to begin with. He threatened to flame me on the list for a stupid little mistake; a mistake. He doesn't see it that way. I apologized, but I didn't agree to trade back, so he wants to flame me. No way, i wouldn't have it. Whatever, I wanted to throw the first stone, that is what i did. You don't like it, I apologize. I don't want to be known as a "bad trader" b/c I am not so. I have a list (not complete) that I can provide of people I have traded with and were completely satisfied. I am not a bad trader and I am not going to let some stupid little issue of a missing piece of paper cause me to look like one. Using the language I did does make me look bad, but in the heat of the moment......... gil np: KLF - CHILL OUT (request of another list member:) frankie@gargamel.com wrote:

Mark I didn't stat this one really, and at first I never had any complaints with the guy. I only acted BEFORE he started. He threatened to flame me on the list and if I let him it would have been al wrong. I don't have any problem with the trade other than he is bitchin' about something that is no big deal. He has emailed me a bunch of times in the last few days crying about a friggin' inlay card I DO NOT HAVE. What does this guy want me to do: send everything back? That's pretty unfair. Call off an entire deal b/c he's missing ONE inlay card. I didn't realize I lost it, I apologized to him immediately. He thinks I pulled one over on him err sumpin. Why would that be. He tells me the CD, read that again, THE CD is valueless because it is missing an inlay card. That is terribly false. A promo CD, like he sent me, should be valueless cuz they are not intended to sold in the first place! Sorry I know this guy has good rep, but I won't let him use that to ruin my rep for one little piece of paper, that is why I threw it to the list before him. gil Mark B. Conklin wrote:

I've dealt with Rowland many times and he's has been an excellent trader as far as I'm concerned. He even sent me the DJ Cam cd "Substance" right after an agreement was made and then waited for almost 2 months until I could get my end of the deal to him (had to order it - Octopus 1 BTW). He never bitched once. I'm not exactly sure why the flame was sent to the list, but now I feel the need to stick up for Rowland. He's never done me wrong on many trades. It's ridiculous how these things get out of hand. MC

well now you've done it. I must confess a problem I've had with someone on the ambient list, they may also be list as well (or visa versa). Anyways you'll catch my drift. I bought an original copy of a cd that was out of print and i knew it was to be issued soon but i wanted the original release because i'm a freak of a collector (At least I think i knew it was to be issued soon). I probably would not have bought it, if i had known it was a cut out and had a cut out hole punched in it, 'especially' at the price i paid for the damn thing! I was never told about this and would have appreciated it they had told me so. I don't know maybe I'm a freak and collector scum but I take good care of all my stuff including CD's. I just think it's good practice to state the condition of an item being sold, (IMO). But like I said maybe I'm a freak in that regard. But then again I'm an honest person. jeff
