Yup. Recently a number of compilation CDs of old freestyle music have been
released. (Old freestyle is basically Latin-influenced hi-nrg with a hint of
Miami bass.) I've been buying them cuz this is what got me into dance music
in the first place (even before new wave and industrial). It would take a
pretty wild imagination to really classify any of this as idm, though.
