Anyone pick up that Pinch 12" on Planet Mu? pretty damn tuff. I'd
recommend that. On the dubstep tip also.
Also been diggin (into my vinyl this past week) the new Various
Production's 7" which is pretty dubstep/grime or something.
my housemate turned me onto Sleeparchive last week, and picked up one of
the 12"s which is pretty fine, tho very plastikman like.
The See Mi Yah 7 x 7"s also, don't need to explain how that sounds, but
they're all excellent.
Same housemate lent me Susan Brokesch 'Emerald Stars' last night also,
which is pretty good sounding, on Chicks On Speeds' label, noisey
electronics, almost industrial at points, occasional vocals in the mix,
also pretty good.
I joined emusic last week and got into a few older release -
Lusine's 'Serial Hodgepodge', which is pretty dancy but a lot of nice
energy and kinetics in it. On the hip hop tip, i got Madvillainy which
is pure genius. And one i hadnt owned for years, Oval's 94diskont, which
is the most amazing album for putting on going to sleep. Actually, in
that vein as well, i downloaded the free Loscil album which is another
new fav.
