Phonem is dead - Long live Elliot Perkins
Three years after Phonem released his last album "Ilisu" on
Morr Music, he finally re-emerges with his new album "Eurodac
Express". Having discharged his former artist moniker, he
releases it under his real name Elliot Perkins for Ultra Red's Public
Rec. The press release says: "Originally commissioned for
Manchester's Futuresonic Festival in 2002, EURODAC EXPRESS began as a
collaboration between Elliot and the internationally-renowned
photographer Shahidul Alam from the DRIK Project in Bangladesh - whose
regular practice involves working with migrants in the sub-continent.
