Either that or people will start doing ragga dancehall with 80's electropop samples.[1]
Tbh, it's just like any other IDM subgenre[2], in that there are really good people doing interesting, enjoyable music and a lot of less good people doing rather uninspired knockoffs until everyone gets sick of it.
