Hey Luis,
I actually got my undergrad degree from U of T (in engineering though,
not musicology). But anyway, I've heard the music scene in Philly is
quite good (certainly better than Boston, where I am now). Talk to the
guy that runs the SoundList mailing list (he has a lot of ties with the
folks in the Philly scene).
But in all reality, Toronto is an awesome city. I'd love to still be
there, but I was forced to leave. :(
