here is some music to shut the others up:

Everton Blender's "Bush and Saddam" anti-war song... damn good i must say although I don't agree 100%.
those who want the last word never get it. so you reply to me and we can both chat off list. as for you spanking me for my volume of emails.. i am sorry but this war is very much a part of my existance right now and i take it seriously.
thanks for a well thought out response unlike others on this list i am glad you don't stop ambulences.
to answer your many questions with one. I say this...
I feel that I am doing much more by standing behind our troops in my spirit and prayers than more than 90% of protestors.
do i feel that this is a just war to actually fight myself? yes I do. I would be scared shitless but I would for many reasons.
I used to be in the anarchist youth federation. I have grown and those viewpoints have helped me to formulate non-biased opinions.
I believe that every man and woman over there fighting on the coalition side is a hero... go ahead hate me for it.. i know that your abilty to talk and type is a freedom that others before you bled for.
do i want blood? that is the wrong question.
do I want proactive action in times that deem it necessary ? yes i damn well do.
I read news wires from non-american groups. I haven't heard any bush propaganda that you so eloquently refer to but give no examples.
all governments like all companies have something to hide...
nothing is pure. but very very good this country is. (in response to your vietnam war vet point)
hold on lemme read some more of what you said so I can give my rebuttle.
"cheerleading this war" more propaganda talk.. lumping everyone into a category with the same likeminded attitude.. i would like you to use that same psychological manipulation on liberal anti-war protestors... but you won't because it doesn't help your cause.
were you against bombing kosovo? what about the first gulf war?
we created saddam hussein I agree and we should have finished it before I agree and we made a mistake that can't be prolonged... or we will have another SEPTEMBER 11th and it will be our fault.
think outside the box:
we are the most powerful country in the world with a great freedom that most others don't have...
be thankful and support your troops.

To answer your question Joel, no I haven't blocked any
traffic. I don't know how constructive that really is,
I suspect that people do that to force the media to
pay attention. I've been peaceful and I haven't had
any trouble with the cops.
I am very disgusted with all the lies of the Bush
Administration and with the most of media (because
it's all leaning very right) cheerleading this war.
Judging from your emails you seem out for blood.
Perhaps you should enlist and go fight in this war.
Otherwise you'll probably just do something stupid
like blow up an abortion clinic.
Things are not always "black or white" or it you
prefer "Evil-doer and good". The US has done great
things and terrible things. We've supported many
brutal regimes around the world, we choose to nuke
civilian targets in Japan instead of military targets.
In the 80s, the US gave Saddam biological weapons and
the UK built his chemical munition plants. You see it
was all good when we wanted to see Iran lose a war to
Iraq. And the US has sold weapons of mass destruction
around the world. Against our Constitution, we
pre-emptively attack a nation that hasn't done
anything in over 10 years. We've shown the world we
will break international law when it suits, so what
happens when China does it? Or Pakistan, North Korea,
etc,
Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld are patriotic, why didn't
they go to Vietnam they were in the right age group?
And why are they now slashing our Veteran's benefits?
That seems like a real slap in the face to the men
that served.

Joel I think you've reach your quota of stupid
remarks, so reply off list to me ok. You've already
sent a surprising amount of posts already, and none of
them have been that intelligent.
I apologize to the list for no music content this time
around, but since this was directed at me. I thought I
had to respond.

Is this war really about Oil? Here are where some of
Bush's Administration have ties to oil.
Dick Cheney (Vice President)
Ex-CEO of Halliburton Industries, an oil service
company. And what a surprise they are one of the first
companies already lined up to operate in Iraq.
Don Evans (Secretary Of Commerce)
Ex-CEO of Tom Brown, Inc., a $1.2 billion oil and gas
company
Spencer Abraham (Secretary Of Energy) opposes research
of Renewable energy. Wants to drill in Alaska
Gale Norton (Secretary Of The Interior)
She started he legal career at Mountain States Legal
Foundation, a conservative environmental think tank
funded by oil companies.
Condoleezzaa Rice (National Security Adviser)
She was on the Chevron's Board Of Director for over
ten years and even has a 130,000 ton oil tanker named
after her.
Then there's Kenneth Lay who has been a shadowy
adviser in the Bush Administration. This Enron CEO is
a free man, no jail time for him.
